Screw: The screw is just 5mm in diameter. It is my first time practicing Sam's reverse lens trick. I used adhesive tape to attach Rebel's kit lens in reverse to EOS 1000F's kit lens attached to Rebel's body. Now I can realize how hard it is to have objects in focus this way. Sam does a GREAT job.
