Castle: Finally we arrived, after climbing for about 2 hours we were there! Wet, tired and dirty. Well, it worth the try. It wasn't possible to take a perfect shot in the fog, but I think the visible distance here is even more than what I could see with my eyes.
This is the Rood Khaan castle, situated on a peak near Fouman - Northern Iran. The castle is dated back to Seljuk Era and is built in 1512 A.D. by the order of Hesam-addin Es'haghi. Fouman was the center of constitution revolution wars leading by the wardlord Mirza Kochek khan Jangali in order to repel the invaders. I'm not so sure about the category that I chose for this shot, at least I think it was in a perfect harmony with the surrounding environment. |
