Opera House: I couldn't get to Circular Quay before Sapphire Princess started its cruise to Melbourne. It was already moving and there was no chance for me to have a clear shot.

Biggest and youngest cruise liner ever to visit Australia was more than 2½ times bigger than the Titanic and towering four metres higher than the road deck of the Harbour Bridge, the 116,000-ton Sapphire Princess sailed on her first cruise from Australia at 9pm on December 23 accompanied by a 10-minute fireworks show over her berth at Circular Quay.

I missed it but at least, for once I found myself in front of the Opera House with a tripod in my hand!
